An all-encompassing location with breath-taking westerly sea views across the heritage coast, the apartments are nestled on top of the cliffs with direct access onto the South West coast path. The Lanterns are situated directly above Outer Hope, and Mouthwell Sands, Harbour beach and pubs of Hope Cove are just a couple of minutes’ stroll southwards along the coastal footpath. Turning north, the beautiful beaches of Thurlestone and Bantham are a 1 and 3 mile walk along the coast, or a very short drive.

Hope Cove is a hidden gem, the village has a laid back and quiet feel, with two beautiful and easily accessible beaches which are perfect for surfing, paddle boarding and sailing. The mix of sandy and rocky terrain make the beaches ideal for families who want to build sandcastles and explore rockpools, and the harbour wall is a great spot for crabbing. There are lifeguards on duty during the summer months and the water quality has been designated as excellent, with seals often seen from the beaches. Hope Cove hosts ‘Hope Cove Week’ each August bank holiday, this a lively and fun family festival with lots going on for all the family to enjoy.

From the moment you enter the front door you are welcomed into a luxurious atmosphere designed to allow you to leave your worries at the front door.  No 8 The Lanterns is situated on the first floor and accessed via a set of stairs. Entering into a large spacious hallway with plenty of storage space, you are lead through to the open plan kitchen and living space. 

The kitchen is brand new and fitted with top of the range Neff appliances such as an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer, making sure our apartment will meet all your needs. Relax back on the comfy sofa, or sit at the fitted bench seating and table to dine with a view. The sofa conveniently makes up to a double bed to accommodate extra guests or visitors.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows open up like sliding doors, inviting in plenty of natural light and from its elevated position you have fine coastal views across Bolt Head. There is a small balcony area where you can sit back and relax, take in peace and tranquillity and feel yourself naturally unwind. 

The master bedroom is elegantly designed with a king size bed, cupboard storage, vintage style light fittings and USB charging points. From the bedroom along the hall, the tiled bathroom is reached. The bathroom has a luxurious design, decorated with navy and gold furnishings, and Victorian-style encaustic tiles. Featuring a bath with an overhead hand shower and waterfall shower fixtures, a floating sink with draw storage, a floating toilet, and a large make-up mirror.

Designated parking is allocated for this apartment for ease of unloading. Guests with electric cars – 4 EV charging points are available via the Monto app – A QR code can be scanned on each individual charger and paid for via card or ApplePay. Rates for charging are set by the supplier.
