The Lanterns are situated directly above Outer Hope, Mouthwell Sands, Harbour beach and the pubs of Hope Cove are just a couple of minutes’ stroll southwards along the coastal footpath. Turning north, the beautiful beaches of Thurlestone and Bantham are a 1 and 3 mile walk along the coast, or a very short drive.

Hope Cove is a hidden gem, the village has a laid back and quiet feel, with two beautiful and easily accessible beaches which are perfect for surfing, paddle boarding and sailing. The mix of sandy and rocky terrain make the beaches ideal for families who want to build sandcastles and explore rock pools, and the harbour wall is a great spot for crabbing. There are lifeguards on duty during the summer months and the water quality has been designated as excellent, with seals often seen from the beaches. Hope Cove hosts ‘Hope Cove Week’ each August bank holiday, this a lively and fun family festival with lots going on for all the family to enjoy.

You enter this ground floor apartment into a large spacious hallway with plenty of storage space which leads through to the open plan kitchen and living space which offers plenty of natural light coming in through the patio sliding doors, and a beautiful westerly coastal view. From the living space, you can access a partitioned private patio area, and a communal grassy garden. 

This open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge creates a modern, airy and spacious luxury living area that creates a sense of space and brings everyone together. The navy and gold furnishings, a wooden bench breakfast table, large corner sofa, vintage style lights and soft furnishings all collate to give it a stylish look. The wooden bench dining table provides an ideal spot for family meals or entertaining guests. The comfortable sofa and chairs provide plenty of seating for everyone to relax after dinner or watch TV together. 

The U-shaped kitchen is brand new and fitted with top of the range Neff appliances including an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer and wine fridge, making sure our apartment will meet all your needs.  

The master bedroom features a king size bed, navy and gold furnishings and comes with an ensuite shower room with floating sink and toilet, and Victorian style encaustic tiles. The second bedroom provides a king size bed, while the third bedroom comes with a bunk bed, with a double bed bottom and single top bunk. 

The main bathroom is decorated with navy and gold furnishings, and the same Victorian-style encaustic tiles as the master en-suite. Featuring a bath with an overhead hand shower and waterfall shower fixtures, a floating sink with draw storage, a floating toilet, and a large make-up mirror. 

Designated parking is allocated for this apartment for ease of unloading. Guests with electric cars – 4 EV charging points are available via the Monto app – A QR code can be scanned on each individual charger and paid for via card or ApplePay. Rates for charging are set by the supplier.
