Set amidst the valley of Buckland Park, South Hams, Devon Badgers Den resides. An exterior to dazzle and an interior to wow, this retreat is most sweet.

This homely South Hams Den offers great comfort from the moment you step foot onto the exterior decking.  Upon entry from the fantastic alfresco dining decking into the den, a spacious open plan living area welcomes you. Coat hanging space can be found near the rear of the kitchen.  The kitchen is fully established with crockery, cutlery and bakeware. The classic decor kitchen is in keeping with the rest of the Den. Clean and soft colours brighten the kitchen with an elegant finish from the appliances. Badgers Den offers guests a variety of top and base cupboard units, a microwave, his & her toaster, wine rack, kettle, halogen hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and a full sized Fridge/Freezer. Child protection locks can be found on the cleaning cupboards under the sink.  A modern rustic dining table stands in the centre of the kitchen with 6 shabby chic up-cycled wooden chairs. Draws in the table offer a range of information and useful items for during your stay including brochures on things to do in the local area. The Sonos speaker found in the kitchen, which is a great addition to kickback, and enjoy.

Into the lounge area, carpet has been laid and a marvelous mini log burner resides in the corner of the room. The large window looks out onto the valley, and dependent on the season, you may be able to watch the sheep grazing.  There are two sofas that can be found with additional throws for those chillier nights. A large wooden trunk sits in the centre of the living room, which works perfectly as coffee table.  A TV, DVD-player and a range of DVD’s can be found – perfect for those rainy days to curl up and chill out. Badgers Den does include free WiFi, however, this is shared with the other residents in the valley so streaming is not viable. There is fairly good phone signal in the Den.

The bathroom amenities are intuitively designed for ease; the light switch is located left of the door, with fan and towel rail switches at the top right, all initially off upon arrival. Utilise the motion sensor for night lighting without activating the fan. Bath and shower controls, conveniently placed by the bath, operate both fill and showerheads, with a dual-part screen to ease access. The mirror features integrated lighting and Bluetooth connectivity for added functionality. Enjoy every aspect of this intelligently designed space.

Badgers Den offers two bedrooms. The master bedroom faces towards the front garden, the double size bed offers great comfort and plenty of storage space from the bedside tables to the wardrobe and extra drawers. Decorated with a sailors theme, this white and blue bedroom is rather beautiful and envelops one into its cosy comfort.

The second bedroom is right next door. This twin single is effortlessly spacious, well designed and beautifully decorated. A shared bedside drawer unit hosts a lamp and radio. A large wooden standing wardrobe and chest of drawers provide ample storage during your stay. Extra throws and soft cuddly toys can be found in this room, along with a range of books and puzzles ideal for kids on a rainy day.

Badgers Den has access to both its own private garden and a communal garden, shared with the other residents in the area. The private enclosed garden overlooks the lush green fields and is perfect for dogs to wander in. The garden hosts a picnic bench, plus a bird watching bench for all the family to enjoy the outdoors or even alfresco dining. A retractable washing line can be found attached to the rear of the property in the garden.  A Kettler bistro set on the decking is the perfect setting for morning coffee and afternoon sundowners.

Badgers Den includes parking for two cars at the front of the property, just before the trickling stream at the bottom of the valley.
